Description
This small group (max. 8 children) flexible afterschool program includes teaching financial literacy skills using the curriculum supplied by the non-profit, non-partisan Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (https://cfee.org/about-us/), complimenting the provincial curriculum, illustrating the importance of saving, charity, and an understanding of reaching financial goals by spending within one's means. Perhaps you are wondering about when, or if, your child should earn an allowance? Learning how to manage money at a young age gives kids a head-start developing healthy financial behaviours.
Using art and mathematics, each week your child will work on one portion of several projects throughout the year, the first of which to be presented as part of Canada's annual National Money Fair Day https://talkwithourkidsaboutmoney.com/moneyfair/ on April 15th, 2020. We also offer homework help so parents can enjoy some extra evening time with their children.
Make-up classes are allowed, should your child not be able to attend their scheduled time. Please review the FAQ's here, and any other questions we welcome your email to MightyChangers@gmail.com
Should you prefer to avoid the online ticket fee we welcome you to register in person outside of class hours, or pay by email money transfer. Please email MightyChangers@gmail.com to arrange.
