Best known for his work leading Vancouver reggae champions Giraffe Aftermath, Luke Deville embarks on a solo journey of soulful beachy pop reminiscent of Jack Johnson and Citizen Cope.

A proficient guitarist, songwriter and producer, Deville’s sound reflects an upbringing surrounded by folk and jazz as well as a decade studying the roots music of Jamaica— catchy and rhythmic jams support vulnerable and introspective lyrics of a struggle to overcome depression and the trials and tribulations of love.

Tours in Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand led Deville to share the stage with many legends including Katchafire, the Black Seeds, King Yellowman and others, and work with industry mainstays Craig Welsh (Slightly Stoopid, G-Love) and Jordan Power (Angus and Julia Stone, Xavier Rudd).

Luke Deville will be performing an acoustic set as a duo with songwriter Jesse Bentley on Wednesday January 27th at Guilt and Co.
