Are you a classical or a jazz pianist? Why not be both?! In this course, 7-time JUNO nominated pianist John Stetch will guide you through the basics of what makes jazz different than other genres and how to play or improve upon what you already know about jazz.

Improvisation, harmony, jazz phrase language, unlocking your own creativity and idiomatic rhythms will be covered. The content will also be responsive to participants’ unique questions and challenges. This class, with a small cohort of up to 9 participants, is suitable for pianists with 3yrs+ playing experience
