(This class is now full)The class will focus on learning specific footwork, syncopation, hip and body movements in order to develop muscle memory and learn a pattern to a specific song in order to build musicality. We will explain the rhythm patterns and progressively review and add sections to the pattern throughout the six sessions.

Well-known in Vancouver’s bachata dance community for her creative and playful bachata footwork, Hiroko’s summer classes at D2 were very popular with her students.For November she is continuing to expand her offering and has partnered with Pierre to provide a more dynamic and enriched learning experience for students.Hiroko is generously donating all the class registration fees from her classes to D2 Dance Studio to help us pay the rent for the studio, and we have been very appreciative of her gift and her generosity these past few months as it has helped us meet these expenses.These classes are for both leads and follows, but there is no partner work. Contact free, no touching, no hand contact etc. Safe distancing between participants. Limited registration to ensure lots of space.
