IT'S OUR FIRST BOTTLE DRIVE @ VSIE!!! PLEASE BRING

US YOUR EMPTIES & HELP MAKE IT A SUCCESS!!!

WHEN? 10:00am - 2:00pm on November 22nd at VSIE (2820 Belmont St.)WHAT TYPES OF RECYCLE ITEMS CAN WE ACCEPT:*Alcoholic and nonalcoholic plastic, glass, bottles & cans (all sizes). WINE BOXES - they must have the plastic & the box.*Tetra packs - all sizes - juice only (no soup).*We are unable to accept dairy containers - but we can take soy-based product containers.*We can take most sizes of water containers.*No food containers, please.We make it EASY!! WE will do all the sorting and counting for you!!! You just have to drive up and drop off your empties!! Easy-peasy!!!WHERE? A #1: We have two bins set up currently at VSIE for you to bring us your empties at any time.

Advise the cashier at the BEGINNING of your transaction to donate your funds to the Victoria School for Ideal Education. Please do NOT quote an Account Number - just say it's for the Victoria School for Ideal Education.Q: Will we be doing pick-ups?A: We are not coordinating bottle pick-ups as a school. We are encouraging our VSIE families to volunteer their time to offer to do this in their own neighborhood and gather up as many bottles as they can for the school.We are looking for a number of volunteers to help out on the day. This is a great way to start working towards fulfilling your volunteer hours. Please contact Roz Harper at roz.harper@vsie.ca or the office at admin@vsie.ca to let them know if you can help out.Please start to save your empties now, encourage your family and friends to do the same, coordinate a round of pick-ups on your street & in your neighborhood, and blow us away with any other ingenious ideas you might have for bottle collection!
