We are really happy to host a clinic about the Freestyle with Irene Hannon. Every time we host a dressage show, the freestyle tests are our favorite moments! The clinic will happen only if we have a minimum of five (5) riders. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE INFORMATION BELOW.

FORMAT: the clinic will happen over 2 days, with a 2 hour information session on the first day (ONLINE - Nov 14, 2020 at 3:00pm) in the clubhouse, followed by 45 minute riding sessions (Nov 15, 2020) in the indoor arena on the second day.

The 2 hour information session would cover (15 people max - ONLINE):
• history of freestyle,
• judging,
• video samples
• determining the horse’s gaits (in beats per minute (BPM)
• music
• choreography
• how to put it all together

The 45 minute riding session would cover (8 people max):
• determining your horse’s BPM at walk, trot and canter
• selecting music that suits the horse and rider pair
• Irene will email the music to the rider after the clinic

Participants won’t receive is a complete freestyle of music and choreography that is ready for competition.
FYI: Irene will offer a 10% discount to clinic participants who want to retain her to create a full freestyle (music and choreography).

SRC Members: Information session $30 / Information session and riding session $180
NO AUDITORS
Stabling available: Day stall $35 (1 bag of shaving) / Night stall $50 (3 bags of shaving) / Stall-stripping service $25.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Two-week-prior cancellation in the event of insufficient numbers.
Fees will be refunded ONLY if the space is able to be filled by another participant.

COVID-19 POLICY
• each participant has to fill in a Health and Wellness Self-Declaration Form (link: https://forms.gle/N4zLPMnqEqwftAqd6)
• participants MUST wear a mask at anytime (except while riding)
• if needed, cancellation of the clinic without notice
