1010TIRES.COM’s history began in 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia and was first known as Volco Tires. It began as a second hand tire shop on Kingsway, near Knight St. By 1995 Volco Tires had become a leader in high performance tires and wheels with 3 locations in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
In the late 1990’s, with the Internet’s revolution in full swing, Volco embraced the new technology and pioneered online sales of tires and wheels in Canada, with 1010TIRES.COM opening their doors in August of 2000. Both Volco Tires and 1010tires.com have existed side by side, servicing local, national and even international markets.
1010TIRES.COM have become a widely recognized name, and it was a natural decision to merge the two companies into one, under the name of 1010TIRES.COM, a Volco Company.
