Sewing has always been my passion and in July 2016, I finally took the plunge and started my own company. Finally I have a job that I love doing and I believe that shows in my workmanship!
So for more than 4 years, Kootenay Interiors has supplied the Nelson area and Kootenay Region with custom curtains, roman blinds and various other bespoke, hand-made, window treatments and accessories.
I moved to Canada from England over 10 years ago and have been designing and sewing window treatments for over 30 years. I completed a comprehensive Curtain Making Diploma Course, which taught me the traditional techniques of making custom window treatments. I also undertook a two year Interior Decoration course resulting in a Diploma.
