We have been best friends of over 30 years, and Container has been our dream for many of them. We literally built this thing with our barehands, shedding blood, tears and sweat while sharing laughs on the daily. There's never a dull moment here at Container.

The dream is now a reality having opened our doors Nov. 22/2019, 386 days from taking possession of our little building at 1216 Franklin St., in the heart of the Yeast Van Brewing District.

As outdoor enthusiasts we like to get out and experience the world; this is the thinking behind Container Brewing. We want to give people the ability to enjoy good beer anywhere by providing you with only cans of our best products.

We’ve built a lounge where you can sit and drink your beer, have a bite to eat, while enjoying good conversation. Our unique space will have you thinking about where to sit before you even arrive.

Our Founding Brewer, Tim Juul, came to Vancouver with a different perspective. His brewing techniques, and recipe styles, came from his experience in the New England area. We love the direction he set us on, but the reigns have now been passed on to our current Head Brewer, David Dayco.

David joined us in September of 2019 and has picked up right where Tim left off. He hasn't missed a beat in brewing the recipes Tim developed, and he's created a number of amazing hits for us already too! Not surprising, considering he came to us from Red Truck where he was one of the key folks in recipe development. We've set him free here with a culture that allows for much more creativity.
